The Test Shot is an online visual project that aims to document and celebrate the variety and strength of transmasculine style. We want to create a catalog of how transmasculine identified people in London and elsewhere in the UK live today.

It is a collaboration between myself, my creative partner Jamie Pallas, and the many contributors from across the LGBTQ+ community who have been a part of it.

The project has been running since 2012 and has been featured in Buzzfeed, in presentations around gender identity at the Tate Modern and published in journals exploring gender identity and self-presentation. We have run workshops at the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference around trans* visibility and worked with social enterprises and initiatives that focus on making the world a more inclusive place for transgender people.
